2021 Courage Red Blend

Courage was originally bottled just after Hurricane Harvey and the Napa Valley wildfires that tested our collective humanity. Moved by the generosity and strength of neighbors and first-responders, Courage honors the sacrifice and bravery of countless unsung community heroes. Who would have thought that just a couple years later we would be once again dependent on our first responders.

This red wine was made from 100% certified sustainable vineyards and consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Syrah & Mourvedre. Aromas of cherry cola, boysenberry, and chocolate dipped blueberry. The palate is well balanced, medium bodied with well integrated tannins. There are notes of blackberry, mocha and boysenberry on the palate. The finish has lingering notes of mocha and graphite as well as candied cherry. The result is complex, delicious, and layered with flavor. This wine opens beautifully with 30 minutes of decanting. 

Pair it with savory winter dishes like Beef Bourguignon, smoked turkey stew, and roasted root vegetables.
